From children’s play areas and sports courts to a swimming pool and places to eat and drink, as a holiday lodge owner you have access to all of the facilities at all of the parks operated by South Lakeland Parks.

White Cross Bay and Fallbarrow are both a short distance from Bowness which is home to The World of Beatrix Potter, which is situated in the centre of Bowness. This is a magical recreation of Beatrix Potter’s books, where you can meet Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-duck and all the characters in the famous stories. The Windermere Steamboat Centre, houses a unique collection of historic steamboats and motorboats. Special events throughout the season include the British Classic Motorboat, model boat and steamboat rally.

Limefitt and Gatebeck are the two countryside parks. These two peaceful parks have some excellent facilities also, including places to eat and drink, children’s play areas and more, but most importantly, these parks are ideal if you are looking for somewhere away from it all to relax and take it easy.
